Lembaga Perumahan dan Hartanah Selangor (LPHS) has issued a circular dated 7 September 2011 on the Mechanism on Bumiputera Quota Management in Selangor. The circular acts as a guide to all government and private agencies especially developers in the processing of application for release of Bumiputera quota units as approved by MMKN (27/2011) dated 10 August 2011.

POLICY ON ACQUISITION OF PROPERTIES BY FOREIGNERS / PERMANENT RESIDENTS / FOREIGN COMPANIES IN SELANGOR

The Selangor State Government had recently approved a new policy on the acquisition of properties by foreigners / permanent residents / foreign companies in Selangor.

The price threshold for properties allowed to be acquired by foreigners / permanent residents / foreign companies in Selangor had been increased to RM500,000 per unit.

DEVELOPMENT CHARGE RULES 2010

The Selangor State Government had on 25 November 2010 gazetted the Development Charge Rules 2010 in accordance to the subsection 32(1) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1976 (Act 172) in which the local planning authority may levied a development charge on any application for development. Copy of the Gazette can be purchased from the National Printer (Percetakan Nasional Malaysia Berhad).

PENYEDIAAN KAWASAN PERUMAHAN KOS RENDAH, KOS SEDERHANA RENDAH DAN KOS SEDERHANA SECARA BERINTEGRASI DENGAN PERUMAHAN KATEGORI LAIN DI DALAM PERANCANGAN TATATUR PEMBANGUNAN PERUMAHAN

Jawatankuasa Perancang Negeri Selangor (JPNS) had on 22 June 2010 approved a circular on the “Penyediaan Kawasan Perumahan Kos Rendah, Kos Sederhana Rendah dan Kos Sederhana Secara Berintegrasi dengan Perumahan Kategori Lain di dalam Perancangan Tatatur Pembangunan Perumahan” which was endorsed by MMKN on 25 August 2010.
